How to restore missing unity launcher & dash (Ubuntu)


Open terminal and type this command:
root@penreturns:~$ sudo apt-get install --reinstall unity && sudo reboot
You can also reinstall Unity with this command:
root@penreturns:~$ sudo aptitude reinstall unity
root@penreturns:~$ sudo reboot
Enjoy!

*copy code without root@penreturns:~$
